Start Free Trial About Whoosh
Whoosh is a Shopify app that makes stores load faster, with no code. It loads the apps shoppers see first, makes the rest wait, and preloads the page a shopper is likely to open next.
It is made by a team in Sydney, Australia, and has been on the Shopify App Store since 11 August 2025.
Who makes Whoosh
Whoosh is made by Fastlane Technology Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Erskineville, Sydney. Edward Cameron founded it in 2023.
Stores install Whoosh from the Shopify App Store and pay for it on their Shopify bill. Questions go to the same team that builds it, at admin@getwhoosh.ai.

What Whoosh does
Smart App Loading
Loads the apps shoppers see first and makes the rest wait, so chat widgets, trackers and review tools no longer hold up the page.
AI Page Preloading
Learns how shoppers move through the store and loads the page they are likely to open next, so it is there before they tap.
Real-Time Speed Insights
Shows speed, conversion lift and recovered revenue from real shoppers in one dashboard. Every plan includes it.
What it does not do
- It does not edit or copy your theme. It changes when apps load, not how the theme is built.
- It never preloads checkout or account pages, though it can preload the cart so it opens instantly.
- It needs no code and no developer. It installs from the Shopify App Store and runs inside Shopify admin.
How Whoosh measures results
Not in a lab. Whoosh measures the lift on each store's own shoppers, against shoppers on the same store who do not get Whoosh.
-
1. First few weeks, about a month
Every store starts on a 50/50 test. Half the shoppers get Whoosh and half do not, and the dashboard compares conversion and revenue between the two groups.
-
2. Once the result is clear
The split moves to 90/10. The 10% of shoppers who do not get Whoosh stay as a control group, so the lift stays measured, not assumed.
